Frosty morning near Monmouth, Wales – January 2012

Have just returned from a short trip to Wales – on the very first morning everything was covered with frost; a gentle, shimmering beauty, which disappeared within a few hours, and which I felt lucky to have seen (and on such a beautiful spot, just near the Wye river) – it’s probably nothing out of the ordinary in Europe, but we just don’t have it in central Israel. Or southern Israel. (I have some doubts about northern Israel too, but I’ll leave this open.)
