Tree – Wiesbaden, Germany, May 2012

Here’s another image I’m ambivalent about – the same internal debate of ‘not my type of shot’ vs. ‘this is kinda unusual and there’s something to it’ (I guess part of this something is the the graphic-design simplicity of the shot).  And, as opposed to most shots on the blog (and especially those from the last post), this is straight out-of-the-camera – in which case you might wonder where I got these greens from – they come from a 13 seconds exposure :-).

  1. I see. I couldn’t do such long exposures without a tripod but it hugely depends on the camera. What does the tree mean after all?
